Terms of use

Summe · Last updated 15 October 2026 (v1.1)

Short version: Summe is a tool to design and export invoice and quote PDFs. Your data stays with you, Pro is a one-time purchase, all sales are final, and you are responsible for the documents you send.

What Summe is

Summe is a web app made by Studio Santé that helps you design and export invoice and quote documents as editable PDF files. By using Summe you agree to these terms.

Free and Pro

Summe can be used for free. Summe Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks extra features (such as more designs and languages, no watermark and sync between devices) on the number of devices stated on the pricing page. It is a personal license: please do not share or resell your license key.

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller (merchant of record) and issues your receipt or invoice. Prices and taxes are shown at checkout.

All sales are final

You can use Summe for free for as long as you like, so please try it before you buy. Summe Pro is digital content that is unlocked immediately after purchase, so all sales are final and we do not offer refunds.

By completing your purchase you ask for immediate access to Summe Pro and acknowledge that, once your license key has been delivered, you lose the right of withdrawal that consumers in the EU and the UK would otherwise have for 14 days.

This does not affect your rights under consumer law if Summe Pro does not work as described. If something is not working, contact us and we will help.

Your data and backups

Your invoices, clients and settings are saved in your own browser and, if you turn on sync, in your own Google Drive. We do not store them and cannot recover them. If you clear your browser data or delete the file in your Drive, that information is gone. Keep your own copies of the documents you send — for example, download your data from Settings from time to time.

Your invoices and your country

Summe is not a certified invoicing or accounting system and does not submit anything to any tax authority. Tax names, rates and numbering are set by you. You are responsible for the content of your documents and for meeting the tax and invoicing rules of your country. If in doubt, check with your accountant.

In some countries a PDF invoice is not enough for some or all businesses. For example, invoices between businesses must be structured e-invoices in Belgium (from 2026) and in Italy; Portugal requires certified invoicing software; Poland, France and Germany are introducing mandatory e-invoicing; and Spain will require certified invoicing software (Verifactu). Check which rules apply to you before using Summe for those invoices.

Fair use

Do not use Summe to create false or misleading documents, or for anything illegal. Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service or its license checks.

No warranty and liability

We work hard to keep Summe reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Studio Santé is not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost income, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Summe Pro. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes

We may update Summe and these terms. If we make important changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Features may change over time, but a Pro license you have bought will not be turned into a subscription.

Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law.
